Richard S. Sullivan 1927 - 2023 West Springfield

Richard Stanton Sullivan, 95, of West Springfield, Mass., passed away peacefully at home from natural causes on Feb 1, 2023. He was born on October 13, 1927, son of the late George Wilmer Sullivan and Elizabeth Stanton ("O'Neill") Sullivan of West Springfield, Mass., one of nine children. He graduated from West Springfield High School in 1945 and after serving in the Army, he was married to the late Carol Eleanor Bradley Sullivan in 1950 for 64 years until her passing in 2015. He was a co-founder and leader of the family business, Sullivan Paper Company in West Springfield, for over 50 years.
