A Message to RPA Members: Remembering Thomas John Clements
It is with deep sadness that the RPA informs its membership of the passing of Thomas John Clements, a long-time member and friend to many in our community. Tom passed away on September 14, 2025, at the age of 82 in Orange, CA, after a courageous battle with esophageal cancer.

Tom, or Tommy, was a true entrepreneur and visionary. After moving to California in 1972, he founded Pacific Western Sales in 1980, a packaging company he led with energy and passion for 35 years until his retirement in 2015. His dedication and leadership left a lasting mark on the packaging industry and on all who worked with him.
Above all, Tom was known for his kindness, generosity, and deep faith. He was a devoted husband for 60 years to his beloved wife, Lorraine, a cherished Dad, Grandpa, and Great PopPop. He loved to travel and enjoyed giving advice and helping those less fortunate.
Condolences and Charitable Donations
To say that Tom will be missed is not enough. We hold tight to his memory and celebrate his legacy of love and faith.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Tom’s memory to one of his favorite charities:
